Did anyone test to see if an infantry unit can act/camo like the Mirage tank ?

Is this possible ?

I do have a mirage transport, but it's still a vehicle. I did not attempt this for infantry.

Mirage logic only works on vehicles. Both the Mirage & Spy use the same tag CanDisguise=. If you use that tag on an infantry type it will disguise as another infantry, if you use it on a vehicle it will disguise as a terrain object.

You could make a dummy infantry that looks like a bush & then set that as the default spy disguise. But you would still need to disguise the spy as an enemy infantry for it to be useful.

If I make it spy-like will it be able to somehow shoot at infantry too ?

No, the spy uses the weapon [MakeupKit] to disguise itself & cant use another weapon against infantry.

You can give a disguising infantry another weapon, and use "DisguiseFireOnly" on it to cause it to be used only when the unit will only fire it when it has a disguise.
