I have a few super-defenses that have range around 50.

Through ARES they will not shoot anything automatically (that enters the range) but I can still manually make them shoot if I target something (not force fire, normal attack fire).

Through the normal RA2YR they shoot at anything just fine.

The only difference I can find is that they are not listed under base defenses but I doubt that has anything to do with the problem.

Is there an known issue with very long range base defenses ?
