As i havent been online today, well have...but busy. I spent all this free day writing a large tutorial about XCC Mixer, to solve easierly questions about the program. The tutorial offers information on how to use it, the functions of almost each menu item, mentions how to convert the files (PCX; to SHP, SHP to PCX; PAL (JASC) to PAL, etc). And it has a nexus, a third content section which has information (normal and advanced) about each file format that XCC has got in the menus / some additional that are not (like INI and BINK). Some of the descriptions are technical as well, describing file structure data. Some are not. Interested can go look in there, surely something in there might be useful.
I mainly designed this tutorial for newbies, as i have seen a lot of questions concerning XCC Mixer, and how to create buildings or infantry, people, a lot of them, is getting tired of answering the same over and over, so although i keep answering over and over (cause im good ), this will easier everybodys task.

Head for the tutorial at Tutorials ---> Modding ----> English ----> Basic XCC Mixer Use.

Notice, this is an unofficial tutorial, almost completely done by me (except some information bits on the File Formats section):
The tutorial, as well is exclusive to YR Argentina (unless Olaf wants to later put it on his site ), that means no mirroring either. You can link but not place it directly on your site. Also its better to post a link to the site itself if posting one, and not to the tutorial, so people can browse through all the tutorials before asking again.
Further news about a second tutorial on other editing programs soon

By the time link to the tutorial: http://yrarg.cncguild.com/downloads/tutorials/xcc.htm

Full site:

Hope this is useful, and good modding!
