Just thought of this but if you turned the yellow enegy into green and made this so it could be parashuted from a plane, when it lands it opens to iradiate an area

Unless Ares adds custom parachutes, it would have to be infantry, and the parachute frame of the infantry isn't animated, losing half the effect you want.

The first version of Ares added custom parachutes for individual units. You could also use attach effect to add a custom animation to a dummy infantry.

Lastly can also attach a parachute to a weapon projectile, skipping the need for a paradrop SW and instead using a normal aircraft to drop the weapon.
