In the last couple of weeks, secsome from Final Alert 2 SP made a few updates in Final Alert 2 SP with the release of Build20231122 (1.6.3). As the webmaster of PPM, I thank secsome for promoting the community sites in the plugin, including the PPM forums. But this is not all. A couple of additional tidbits have been added to this version as well. For those unaware of what is being written here, Final Alert 2 SP is a DLL that extends Final Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge, the official map editor for Red Alert 2, and its expansion Yuri's Revenge. It adds new features and fixes bugs from it. The changes from Final Alert 2 SP Build20231122 (1.6.3) were announced with the following words:

  • New ExtConfig : ExtVariables = BOOLEAN, defaults to false
  • New ExtConfig : FileWatcher = BOOLEAN, defaults to true
  • Add shortcuts to some online websites

    • FA2sp Github Page, translation key: Menu.Online.FA2sp
    • Phobos Github Page, translation key: Menu.Online.Phobos
    • PPM Forum MainPage, translation key: Menu.Online.PPM
    • ModEnc MainPage, translation key: Menu.Online.ModEnc
    • You can also add your own shortcuts (3 at max) by editing FAData.ini section [Online]

      • This feature might be vulnerable in some cases, so it is disabled by default. You can enable it by setting ExtConfig : CustomOnlineWebsites = BOOLEAN, defaults to false
