The End of Days 0.98.5 Patch 4 is out!
Subject description: Featuring the perfect formula to handle Marvel heroes: the immortal bullets!
Greetings, commander! Happy New Year, or almost there? For some people, 2024 starts differently, such as the team from The End of Days who has recently released The End of Days 0.98.5 Patch 4. For your information, The End of Days is a mod for Command & Conquer: Generals Zero Hour. It adds Russia as a new playable faction and improves the original three with new units, structures, and special powers! It strives to bring an authentic real-war feeling, with a few fictional additions for more fun and diverse gameplay & tactics! It also replaces Heroes with elite infantry, and Superweapons are mostly presented as mobile ICBM Launchers like Russia's Topol-M or China's DF-41. It also innovates with purchasable subfactions at your tech center instead of the original choice of "Generals" before battle, which allows you to change your strategy mid-game to counter your opponents! Each of the 4 factions has 3 completely different subfactions to choose from. Here are the changes from The End of Days 0.98.5 Patch 4:

Adjusted Stealth settings to reveal aircraft when it's attacking or taking damage (J-31, J-20, Z-19, H-20)
H-20 requires an upgrade in order to become stealth
Z-19 Stealth Ability removed. A helicopter is now stealthy once a global upgrade is researched: it will remain invisible unless attacking or taking damage.
Fixed Helicopters' instant missile reload bug
Level 1 GPs are slightly redone to make more sense. Fewer units are locked behind GP powers
RUAF stealth coverage upgrade is replaced by Aircraft electronic warfare, making SU-57, 75, and 34 immune to enemy attacks for 3 sec
SU-75 is now multi-role with a bit weaker missiles. HP reduced from 220 to 160
SU-57 price increased from 1500 to 2000. The payload increased from 6 to 8 missiles. Better armor protection against heavy SAM and Jet missiles
BVR upgrade gives an additional 2 BVR missiles to PAK FA for a total of 10 missile payload
SU-57 are permanently stealth
SU-75 are permanently stealth-revealing only when attacking
Fix Flamethrower not being able to enter Helixes.
Updated AI thanks to DayV. AI acts smarter and more competitive now.
Kornet-D1 HP reduced by 10%
TU-160 FOAB plane and B1B MOAB planes speed reduced by 12%
ALL 5 Rank GP like FOAB, MOAB, ANTHRAX, and EMP now cost 2 GP points
FOAB AOE reduced to MOAB levels
Chinese Hackvan cost reduced from 1350 to 1200
FOAB and DAISY CUTTER/MOAB now require rank 7
Anthrax bomb and EMP Pulse now requires rank 6
F-22 Raptor price increased to 2000, 2 more missiles, +25 range +10 damage per missile
F-22 armor improved vs Jet missiles
Machine gun weapon is removed from F-22 and SU-57
Scud Strike GP damage reduced by 20%
Fixed bullets missing moving targets
China Repair GP HP regeneration increased from 100 to 250 and AOE from 100 to 110
ECM Missile jamming AOE increased by 10%, and jamming rate improved from 400ms to 333
Chinese structure mines can be detonated only beneath ENEMY unit and not NEUTRAL
Helix Gattling Cannon no longer detects stealth aircraft, but only ground stealth units
Fixed China Neutron mines
Guardian LPD now intercepts only missiles but no shells. The shield ability blocks shells. This was needed in order to fix the bullet interception problem
+15% Machinegun Damage for Bradley
Viper Machinegun reload time between bursts increased from 1 sec to 1.33
+12% fire rate for all AA gun-based weapons
Helix machinegun upgrade cost reduced from 900 to 500
+50 HP to Dragon tank
-50% Damage to dragon tank firewall damage
+China Vehicle repair GP cooldown reduced from 4 min to 2 min
-10% HP for Battle buss and Battle Fortress
Shilka DelayBetweenShots reduced from 100ms to 70 ms
Improved AI
GLA Viral negative bonus doesn't affect owner's units. It still affects allied units because there is no code available to fix it
