Mount Gush More (2 vs 6) [YR] [2-8]
I was inspired by one of the original Westwood maps that came with the game, Mount Rush More (2 vs 3)
I like this concept of uneven team numbers but giving the team with less people more resources and a better strategic position.
Not sure how balanced it would be with actual humans but it seems to work well against computers.
SO anyway, this is similar to Mount Rush More in that the team of 2 starts up the top and with better resources but also with water flowing through the map.
I did mess up a section around the middle with some poor cliff making (at least i learned from it i think!) which i just couldn't fix for the life of me, so i did the dodgy and covered it with trees and darkness...
I found it didn't effect the gameplay so rather than trying to spend hours fixing it i just left it, hope it doesn't put people off playing it, i barely notice it when i've played the map as there is multiple other paths up/down the mountain.
Have fun with it, keen for feedback on whether i've got the balance right and any other tips.
About to start another map now, this time a 1 vs 7, and thinking i should make it for both RA2 and Yuri's.
Was also thinking of dropping like a "best of" my old maps from about 20 years ago (they were never on this site as far as i know) if anyone is interested.
