In Phobos, you could add lasertrails easily and customize the FLH, how many lasertrails, etc.
In Mental Omega, the paradrop planes have two trailers on the left and on the right.
I didn't see anything in Ares about trailers being added to a technotype.

Considering Mental Omega is now just using Phobos, this might be possible in the original game
but there isn't an example of something having multiple trailers in the INIs.

While I don't know exactly how "they" do it, linetrails work by default on every flying unit

I think Phobos can add more "virtual" units

So if you add attached virtual units, those units can have linetrails in the art.ini entries, and always remain attached to a main unit

What do you mean by virtual units? Is it like an actual unit attached to a unit like a multi-part unit or is it something else? And which section the Phobos document is the part about "virtual" units?
