[RA2/YR] Bad version of D2K Spice Harvester - need help with texture
Subject description: this only Voxel and HVA
I love Dune 2000 and when i saw Dune 2000 3d models from alqui, i try to convert 3ds Spice Harvester into Voxel version using 3ds2vxl and the result isn't as my expectation, i must repair it here and there.
and since this is my first try and my first Voxel, the textures look awfull and the voxel axis is little bit look misplace
i don't know how to fix it, beside that right now my time to doing this kind of stuff is limited.
3ds2vxl can do a good job, but remember that the way most models are drawn in 3DS/Max are not the same orientation as voxels are seen in game. You have to rotate them 90deg in most cases, and sometimes flip them front to back as well.
With an isolated screenshot like that I can't tell if the front is where the front is supposed to be, but if you nail that, the conversion (and normals) should look right.
EDIT: I just looked and it is indeed still rotated from where it should be, also the origin point (the point it revolves around is off to the side, so the whole thing has to be recentered. _________________ http://www.moddb.com/mods/scorched-earth-ra2-mod-with-smart-ai QUICK_EDIT

I try to fixed it, and it took many nights. just like the old days. and i think the light is better now, about textures sorry, i have partial color blindness issue, i just try to make as close as possible with original Dune 2000's spice harvester, but it's not enough.
