According to Time Of War, the system requirements of Generals will be:

Minimum Requirements (current)
Windows® 98, ME, 2000, or XP
DirectX™ 8.1
1000 MHZ Intel® Pentium®
128MB RAM
1.2GB Disk Space
4X CD-ROM
64MB Graphics Card
56K Internet Connection (For multiplayer online)

My Duron is 950Mhz :p.... so it will run slow... very slow... oh well.. I hope they are exagerating...

Just overclock it! I have my P4 1700 overclocked to 2200, so your Duron should be able to overclock to at least 1024mhz

Yes, a geforce 2 MX for the minimum requirement ...

a ge force 4 with the system FX will give better results on generals...

Nvidia work for an optimisation on this chipset (FX) especialy for C&C generals and some other games.

With my GF4MX, I will need less processor than if I had a GF2MX. But it's not much better, really... Also, are these system requirements so high because of movies? Or, when you play the game, it really takes much processing and video?

Hum, i don't know all ... because i'm NOT (and yes...) interested by CnC generals...

(i prefer the tiberuim serie).

But don't worry, i have a pentuim 1 , 233 Mhz and Medal Of Honor and Quake III work normally ! with 196 mo Ram and a nvidia tnt 2 32 mb !

My secret ? optimisation a lot ! each 3 month a formatage of my disk, reinstall of win 98, scan disk, defrag and regclean, and my computer live again Smile

(the life of my computer is about seven years Very Happy )
