Sad to say,but the U.S. Military is replacing the Humvee for a new prototype hybrid car. i myself am inlove with the prototype,but the Humvee is truely retro.

Served in: Gulf War 1, Gulf War II.

THE FUTURE: (OMFGLYK3 PWNZ0RZ.)

the Shadow RSTV. sleek, sexy, and 1 color. i'd love to park that bad boy in my garage.

well to be honest, many soldiers die because of some simple bullets fired at at their vehicle. And if I compare the humvee with the prototype, the humvee is more solid-looking as the new one. Pretty stupid. A humvee is like a tin can on the battlefield, but it looks intimidating. But this new thing on the other hand looks like you go to war with something from fischer price #Tongue

. It looks more armored... but I don't think it has the reliability of the humvee. I guess the militairy thinks it is better... otherwise they wouldn't replace it.

M1097 my fav Hummer, I expected sooner or later it would get replaced, its a great work horse. We'll probly have it in the guard for years after the army gets rid of it. Of course no matter how much armor you have if you get blown 80 feet in the air by a IED your just screwed.

Too bad the humvees are going out. The willy was used for yonks and were already getting rid of the H1's. Shame that. Ud think that with a massive budet the US would just make a more hardcore Humvee, not consult citroen for a bush bashing jeep Laughing

Anyways, i liked the hummer, but the shadow is better. But why not keep them both? OMG Is that a "lazer" on it's back!?!?!? Oh, and does the shadow come in different colors? Very Happy
