Is there a way to modify how long infantry goes prone after taking damage? It seems to be one of the obvious and simple things to be customizable, but I can't figure out if there is any setting for it in the rules.

AFAIK the duration is hardcoded and can't be changed.

Do you think that when a soldier dies, how long does a body stay there?
If so, you can find it in the art.ini

DEATH_A to DEATH_F

Rate=1 very slow
Rate=10 normal, standard

Well, actually if it is hardcoded it can still be changed. You would need to find the hex address of the value in the .exe
