How do you copy a .tem terrain file from temperate and make them also visible in snow and urban? Is this possible? For example, bpave03d.tem or dclb18.tem, I'd like to make them visible not only in temperate, but also in snow and urban, can it be done?

With TMP Editor, you can copy the complete image, save the tile to the new extension .urb/.lun whatever, then re-open it, paste, save again. Not the most efficient option, but the simplest to get started with.

Thanks for the advice! Previously, I renamed tem to "other theaters," but the colors got mangled a bit (desert was the best). Your way is much better for sure. I know, I'm kind of new in terrain editing I guess.  Approved!

a more efficient way to do that would be to use starkkus batch tmp tool. you will have to put all the tmp files you want to convert
in a folder, use the tool to export them all as .png, change the file extension of the tmp tiles, then import the images back into the
tiles using the correct .pal

for reference, .des and .tem already use the same .pal

Currently testing the batch TMP tool, and I had no idea it even existed. This will definitely save me a lot of time! Thank you for sharing!

no problem and good luck with your project

ps if you know how to use blender, i made some project files that can be used in conjunction
with the batch tool to quickly generate brand new terrain
