Load/Save settings in LAN/Skirmish?
Hello,
just a short question:
Is it possible that the game remembers my settings in LAN/Skirmish mode, eg. "Short Game" yes/no, "Silos Needed" yes/no and so on?
In Tiberian Sun Client I can load & save these settings, but in my opinion it would be best if the game just remembers the last settings. The best, of course, would be a combination of both.
The client intentionally does not remember settings to emphasize the default settings: DTA is primarily designed to be played with them considering balance and other game design.
In LAN and CnCNet lobbies you can however save your preferred options with the /SAVEOPTIONS command. The saved options can then be loaded with the /LOADOPTIONS command.
For example, check your desired options, then type "/SAVEOPTIONS MyOptions" to the chat box without the quotes, and press Enter.
Then you can at any point do "/LOADOPTIONS MyOptions" (again, without the quote marks) to load your options.
