Some time ago I read that if you capture multiple machine shops that it increases the health of your armored units.

Is this true and if not, how can I script this into a map ?

The machine shop will slowly repair your units over time, it doesn't increases the health of units and it is only applied once so capturing more then one machine shop doesn't give any extra benefits (other then a back up if one of them is destroyed)

You can use Ares/Phobos Attach Effects to give your units a health boost.

Hmm it appears that the effect does stack, I always thought it was a single global effect.

So yeah, you can make multiple machine shops with different rates.

Just tested, yes, it stacks.

I have been playing this game for years and I never knew that...

That will change the way I look at machine shops. I always just captured one, now I will start to grab more when I play.

Maybe some time, if I care, doesn't seem to important with infantry, but maybe I will look and see if the hospital does the same.

Glad I'm not the only on that thought it was a single global effect #Tongue The hospital's heal effect does stack as well.

That multiple healing effects can be applied, so they can "stack" on top of each other.

Hint's in the fact that the key takes a number instead of a boolean (yes/no). Game calculates sum of the values from buildings owned by each player and if it is above 0 it provides the self healing/repair multiplied by that sum for that player.

It also works for MultiplayPassive=yes houses so any civilians or civilian vehicles are healed or repaired by Hospitals and Machine Shops that have yet not been captured by players, respectively.
