Any one else tinker with gaslands? I loved the idea, so I gave an attempt to do a few.

I got to say, love it, I think the idea of the game is brilliant!

LOL, The rocket was made from a broken Wahl Micro Groomsman trimmer. (The top cover and the nose attachment.)

How big are they and are they kits or are you scratch building them?

Oh, you have never heard of gaslands. These are made from Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars, then what ever bits and junk you want to use.

https://www.ospreypublishing.com/us/gaslands-refuelled-9781472838834/

Amazon (USA, no idea if cost different out side USA) has the book listed for 1/2 the price.

Wiki Summary:
Code:
Gaslands is a tabletop game of post-apocalyptic car combat published by Osprey Publishing in November 2017.[better source needed][1][2] It is designed to be played with toy cars, such as Matchbox and Hot Wheels die-cast vehicles. Players ram, skid and race their way through the wreckage of a burnt-out Earth. The game was designed by Mike Hutchinson.

The orange car bottem right in the 1st shot/post started out as what is seen in the attached image. I bought it from the dollar tree for $1.25, then the gun was from left over 40k bits, other bits, tulle fabric for the mesh windows, credit card cuttings for the welded plates...

After my post I did some googling and ended up on the gaslands reddit page, it was inspiring to see some of the creations people have made using old toy cars as a base.

I mainly build 1/35 scale tanks but next time I'm in my local second hand shop I might have a look at the toy section for anything interesting.
