How do you modify the lightning storm lighting? I intend to adjust it to just the same lighting/brightness of the map so that there will be no visible change when a storm happens. Is this doable/possible?

The lighting effects for the lightning storm are controlled by the IonAmbient=, IonGround=, IonLevel=, IonBlue= and IonGreen= tags inside each map file.

If you are using Ares you can override and customize the map file lighting on the super weapon's rules code instead.

Thank you Mig Eater. I'm doing this in vanilla map. What's wrong with my code? The skies still darken every time Lightning Storm starts.

Try changing IonAmbient= to 1.000000, 1.0 is neutral lighting 0.8 is darken and 1.8 would be lighten etc. Changing IonGreen= to 0.000000 might help too.
