hi ppl,
i just have the german TS version and when i change the name of any standart buildings/units the new name wouldnt be shown, i just got the german name.

does anyone know how to fix it? would it help to use an english language.dll?

Yes. Use the Demo's languege.dll, maybe it'll work.

is it possible that the rules.ini file is responsible for this?

coz i live in germany and to gat an english version would mean to pay at about 20$ more. (in germany 20€)

20$<20€ Maybe there is somethin with the inis too. You can take them too from the demo. The demo is just like original only without music (only 2 songs left), movies (except for the map selections), maps and nod's side (except for graphics\voices).

problem solved.

by using the local.mix from the demo version its working fine...
ill try out which .ini ive to use.

yes and no.

the dialoges in tutorial.ini are (of course) in english.

for things like menue and so on, you have to use an english language.dll
