Sonic Cannon and Seismic Tank way of attacking
What's the best way for these units to attack?
I wanted to have the ChargeTurret way of attacking, with both units attack then recharge.
But as the code implies, I need both of these vehicles to have turrets. Which they don't have.
The ones I've seen was the catapult from Mental Omega. But I've also seen somewhere,
where there was a Tank Destroyer and a Howitzer that was able to use ChargeTurret,
or at least it looked liked it was ChargeTurret.
Is it possible to make an attack animation in HVA? If not, what would be the best way to make the units attack?
Short answer is you can't, only turrets can have firing animations (charge or HVA). You'd have to use a workaround like the unit deploying/converting into another version of itself where the body become the "turret" and then change back after firing. Or you could use Kratos to give the unit a turret that is fixed in place and can't turn, which looks like the units body etc. _________________
I've tried making a workaround with TurretROT=0 and NoTurret.TrackTarget=true.
But TurretROT=0 actually makes the turret turn instantly compared to Speed=0,
where the unit just stays and not instantly move to a cell.
And of course, NoTurret.TrackTarget=true, which wouldn't work since it's in the name, NoTurret.
But I tried, since I thought it might get bugged where it would allow the unit to turn to the target even with a turret.
