BLOODY THIRD SIDE WORK!!!

now i've added a third side
set all units except for the three mcv's to AllowedToStartInMultiplayer=no

and yes i do have the startunits to 1 and bases is no

.....deploying forces ......internal error

now when i set the E1 to AllowedToStartInMultiplayer=yes
it does work........well the game doesn't crash but i often get 50 E1

EDIT : k nvm i got it to work

What did you do? The other day I was messing around and I made a third side but when I let it start with more than one unit I got like 50 of each but if I only say one than I can't build any structures.

lol......I cheat and use sunedit 2k for convenience reasons (before diving into notepad, of course)

hmm... burn it on a CD, open the window and THROW IT OUT!!!!

SE2K is the biggest s**t ive ever seen! if you think you must use an editing program, use TibEd (all serious modders here would kill me for this post Rolling Eyes

). it sucks (like all other editing programs), but its a bit better than SE2K.

i believe, SE2K is too messy and TibEd is better organized, but it just sucks...

at first time when i added new side, it's worked perfectly.
Actualy i added three sides....

people get back on topic cos clazzy is cross at his server,
knightmare, have you edited any weapons? becuase if it crashes on loading screen it's usually something to do with weapons.

btw, Tibed is no better than SE2k, cos its just slaps all it's code at the end of the file.

no, that happens if youre using an voxel without HVA file.

if you give a unit none existing weapons, the game crashes when you build the the unit...
