New Mod: The Communist Machine [YR]
This is a mod about China and a communist France attempting to take over the world. But Israel and America are fighting back.
Timeline:
2006 AD
January:
China comes to new power.
China becomes cold country.
China begins to cause stirs in the world.
China becomes violent diplomaticly!
China cools down.
2007 AD
September:
Russian communist pary takes over Russia!
November:
China Allies with Russia to rule the world
Chinese Nuclear bombs smuggled into New York, San Francisco, Chicago and nuclear bases in The United States.
Bombs detonated.
U.S. crippled.
December:
Germany bobed with 5 nuclear bombs.
Britain bomed with 10 nuclear bombs.
China bombs Swizerland, Belgium and Italy with remaining Nuclear payload of 15 nuclear bombs!
2008 AD
January:
Chinese and Russian army mobalizes with a force of 1500 Tanks and 2500 Men.
China's and Russia's forces move through Europe crippleing all but France and Great Britain.
Febuary:
French and English army prapare to mobalize.
French President and French Prime Minister assassinated.
China performs hostile takeover on France.
The Chinese Communist Army is formed.
June:
England invades France.
England is bombed with ten nerve bombs.
England is invaded by the new French communist and China.
England is crippled.
Beijing is bombed by the U.S.
July:
U.S. and Israeli forces prepare to invade France.
China attempts to bomb U.S. with nerve bomb.
Bomb shot down over Atlantic.
August
U.S. and Israeli forces invade France.
World War III begins.
Then that is were the mod is based following all of these events.

How would these be different ingame? Aside from the Merkava having a small transport capability, I'd have thought they were identical in most RA2-game terms.

Why does China have LeClercs? And why does it have T-80s? If you need ideas for Chinese units, try Sino Defence.
When I refer to "Ra2-game terms", I mean that RA2 is limited in what you can do when portraying similar vehicles. Usually, the best thing to do is artificially exaggerate some simple statistic (like weapon power/range or armour) to make them different. Many of the units that are similar in your mod are perhaps too similar though - unless the units are pretty much fictional with "realistic" names. In this case, the SF might need fixing so that ppl know what each one does/is for.
Finally, I do like your green explosion. It fits in pretty well with the other stuff in RA2. If you want more of a bio-explosion though, you should maybe recolour a more generic explosion? (Mushroom clouds are generally created by nuclear weapons). QUICK_EDIT

I had a long rant over the storyline, but Firefox crashed. I'll give you the gist of it.
If America's major cities were attacked, they wouldn't be crippled. They'd be perfectly capable of launching nuclear weapons at China and destroy the attacking armies as well as most of their major cities.
You said that England was attacked. What about Scotland, Ireland and Wales? Why does it get attacked instead of Italy (another NATO partner)? Italy is going to retaliate as well. Britain is an island, meaning it's hard to be attacked. It has only been invaded twice in the past milennium, by William the Conqueror in 1066 and by Germany in WW2 (and that was only the Channel Islands).
Thirdly, do you honestly believe that a country could be invaded, their leaders overthrown and all rebellions quelled within a month? The only way something like that coud happen is if the population is willing to support it.
Finally, why would France, of all countries, be attacked by China? It's well out of reach (requiring you to cross through abour 5 other countries first) and is surrounded by NATO allies, all of whom will attack if another is.
I had one final point regarding the units, but I see Gilbear beat me to it. _________________

Well, yes and no. Today, in comunist countries recruting is compulsory. You must be at least a soldier. That's how it was/is in comunist countries. So at least 500 million soldier could occupy Russia, with well estabelished plans of course. But the story is kinda extreme. China is a peaceful country. Why would they start a war? QUICK_EDIT

I got Russian blood in me,and Italian,but whatever. You cannot blame the troops of the nation(in this case, Russia.),moreso the government. the U.S. Just started a closing a bunch of military bases in the nation (I guess cause the 'red army' is dead and the schoolchildren arent going 'OMFGT3HREDZB3ZK0MING!' [Off topic]In RA2 and YR on the loading maps, China is marked with red so is with the Soviet Union and this means that they are allies. The action in RA2 is before 1989, before the anti-comunists revolutions, but some countries (like Poland, Romania, Bulgary, Hungary and more) shouldn't be marked with red cuz they became comunist type (in the real life now) after WW2.

You guys should read this awsome story made by.......... ehh, I don't remember. BUT! It's an awsome story based on RA2. It's called Red Alert 2: The only Eternal thing. You can download it a the Red Alert Den, in the War story section. There should be some good Russian names in there.
