Veins In Final Sun

hello

i have a problem with my veins in final sun, thay leave a gap between the vein monster and the veins?, i have a attached a image.

it does do it in game, i even tryed puting the veins down first then the vein monster after, but the gap is still there?

What you should do is... just put the vein monster.. and let it grow the veins by itself.

lol, i dont get this, i put them down, without veins, but thay are not growing?

there are about 2 vein monsters.. I think one is a dummy...

lol, im not useing the dummy, if i put the real vein monster in and veins around it it grows but there is a gap lke i showed in the picture, and i cant get it to go away, it happens with both, the one form the side bars under special overlays option and the ones from the bottom bar special overlays.

I think I know how. Make the ground under the Vein Monster one square below the surronding terrain.

Ever killed a Vein monster before? Look under it, and you'll see it's a square below the surrounding terrain.

YES! it worked.......... once lol, but it wont again, it worked when i put it on lower single field then change the brush size to 3x3 and it went down the the right hight, but it wont no more Sad

. this is going on and on lol.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is a copy-paste feature in Final Alert/Sun, right? If you got it to work once, why not just copy the section and paste it to wherever you need it? Hell, copy it of a WW map if you need to.

Use lower ground, not lower single field, and click once on the mouth. Otherwise it's going to look screwed up when you destroy the veinhole. And remember you can't lower the ground any lower than 0. If you need to raise your map so you can lower the veinhole down, go to Map Tools/Change Map Height and raise it 1 tile height. Don't raise the map too much because your maximum height is 14.

And yes, there is a copy/paste feature but that would be way more work than simply lowering the veinhole down.
