I got XP and 98, but TS works better on WinXP. But RA2....works like hell on XP. Weird. Both games have the same engine (with slight modification).

my ra2 needs to be restarted but on 2nd go it works fine.

ra2/yr works fine.

ts/fs laggy.

wierd huh?

ra2 features "bigger" graphics but ts is more complicated engine wise.

vey weird. Restarting your pc after playing is recomended, just to free completly the memories (RAM, CPU, GFX Card, etc)

YUP. I dont really defrag my hdd. I don't have the nerve to do it.
Disk cleanup is good for getting free space, but the tool doesn't work well. Some of Temp IE Files still remain, same for System Restore and Temp Files. They can be removed manually.

OMG... I know what's wrong... You got too much shit in your TS folder, delete all new maps and mission.pkts you have in your TS folder and restart your comp. It worked for me.

You don't need to delete the maps. Simply change their format and add them in a multiXX.pkt or use MCSG that does that for you.
