no there isn't a website yet, although i've got one we could possibly use. It would also be possible to post messages on other forums (i.e. non-ppm ones) or CnC websites (perhaps just ppm affiliates).

Thanks Banshee, but i think if we just concentrate on getting it off the ground first, getting people involved and doing all the organisation first. Then we can think about whether it needs a website here or anywhere else.

Make propaganda everywhere in outside forums to gather people to help you.

OK well here's my point of veiw.

The more and more I look at this game's unit's building's and all of this the more and more I think we shouldn't be trying to convert RA2 it just doesn't have the option's needed for this kind of conversion. No what I do think would work would be to mod starcraft it has the option's needed for this.

UPDATE:
Ok well without changing the code of the game itself or some serious research on everyone's behalf I do not beleive it possible to do this with RA2. As I said I know starcraft has the needed option's (Plus better engine to control units and I beleive easier way to make them.), but I do not hav the game myself right now and I do not know how many others would have it.

i haven't got starcraft either, and i already have lots of ideas to get around the problems for RA2 (exp. upgrades etc...) so i propose we carry on and see how far we can get, i'm sure the rest of the team here would be willing to help in the researches (?) and who knows it might just work.

Ok well I'm gonna go start the research on upgrade's right now (although serious doubts are in my head.) we can see how far that can be taken.

It linked to a Generals Multiplayer Test hosted by GameSpy resulted of a deal between GameSpy and Westwood/EA Pacific/EALA/EA where EA Pacific has given away some valid serial codes to GamSpy distribute to those who have a paid account on the plan "GameSpy FilePlanet where you pay $6.95 per month (which would be $83.40 per year) or $59.95 per year (much better). Users of this plan can still play Generals MultiPlayer Test for free until friday (february 7th). So, the file which was linked is NOT ILLEGAL AND NOT WAREZ (so, we did not violated the terms of service we have with EE, specially because we never hosted (and won't host) such a file).

However, if you are not a user of FP and want to play it, go to gamespy and sign an account for you (and pay as well), because if you are not a GameSpy FP user, by downloading the file and using someone else's serial code you will be harming the other users and reducing the number of valid accounts and guys, come on, the game will be released in less than one week. Be patient until there.

However, I removed the link due to external complaints and that I really don't wanna cause trouble with anyone.
