need help
i have been trying to get the snipers garrisonable.... like they would b in real life....
but when ever one is garrisoned... it reverts to the basic garrison weapon...
(note that the only unit's in game already able to garrison are GI, Conscript and Initiate. ) in other words i need to know is it is possible to create another garrison weapon, but to have 2 avaviable.. I.e one for the GI's and One for the snipers....
GI's with sniper rounds would b good..... but useless against vechicle's

well thorn old boy i had a little fun with garrisoned snipers last night on YR! all triple promoted hehehehehehehehe vast infantry killings oh and i put a few Guardian GI's in to take care of the tanks....... a building firing rockets funiest thing ive ever seen _________________

I made most soldiers garrisionable in my mod.

yeah.... i noticed them aswell....
but i couln't work it out, cus all the gattling stuff was cut and pasted from the gattling tank....

Yeah, Gattling (weapon change over time) logic doesn't work with infantry. But that is NOT why your weapon is not damaging the beforementioned objects. Come on, try thinking a LITTLE harder. Use a calculator or something to calculate how much damage it SHOULD deal to them, and post the calculations and the code here, if you still can't see the answer. QUICK_EDIT

I bet your gattling weapon uses the original [GattWH] Warhead.
So, your weapon only deals 3% of Damage= to concrete armor. I believe your weapon deals less than 33 points of Damage=, which would result in only fractional damage, but damage below [CombatDamage]MinDamage=1 is always ignored, ergo no damage dealt.
On a different note, Garrisoned MindControl weapons don't work correctly. Nor do IFV MindControl weapons. QUICK_EDIT

just a quick point thorn ok 'cus i have noticed this they hardly do nay damge unless in very large numbers at which p;oint they only like take off a couple blocks of health at level 1 gattling speed, once they are at full power on the other hand they do a lot of damage.. _________________

1. Gattling logic does NOT use Primary/Secondary weapon slots, so if you copied those to your infantry, you're not going to get the same damage as the Gattling Tank does.
2. As I said, infantry cannot use real gattling logic (change weapons over time), you can only use Primary=/Secondary= with them.
3. Even at Damage=50 and Warhead=GattWH, it does only 50*0.03=1.5 points of damage. Seeing as the CY has 3000 hitpoints, you're going to need ... 2000 shots to destroy the CY.
4. Are you using Deploy logic? That is hardcoded to only use Primary= when mobile and only Secondary= when deployed.
5. As I already told you, edit the Verses= to increase anti-concrete damage.
