In order to celebrate the C&C 10th Anniversary, we are doing the second edtion of PPM Animation Contest for Tiberian Sun modders with the help fromSavage War. Your objective is to create the best looking animation, or sequence of animations. It can be a weapon, a death animation and it can use particle system if needed. Contestants are limited to one entry only and we'll be accepting submissions till August 29th (on GMT).

All information about the event is located at PPM Animation Contest 2 Rules section. So, blow up your brains, be creative and good luck!

I have to ask, what exactly is it the 10th Anniversary of? I mean, the name Command & Conquer was first used for commerce on September 13th, 1995, but it was actually first published on October 18th, 1994. So what <i>is</i> it the anniversary of?

Tiberian Dawn was released on August 31st, 1995, according to GameSpy, Westwood, EA and few other sources.

According to the US trademark office, however, the name Command & Conquer was first used September 13, 1995. And Tiberian Dawn years later.

I dont think its a decent way to celebrate C&C 95 at all. we should be celebrating with a C&C 95 tournament. Neutral

Carno... we don't have a community to make a descent RotD tourney. So, what I decided is to make a PPM Animation Contest and in the week of the celebration, we make a PPM Plays RotD.... yea, in the whole week Wink
