I found a nifty program for creating new explosions quickly and of good quality. Best of all, its free! Head to http://www.geocities.com/starlinesinc/ to download it. Heres a sample of what I made this morning. Enjoy!

Very cool program indeed, though the outer grey areas on your explosions aren't that good. Try recoloring them, or remove them if that doesn't work.

Of course, the damn thing won't work on my computer.

Now you can use OS SHP Builder 3.34 to convert the bitmap generated by this program into an explosion SHP.

Frame splitter should be set to order by Horizontal.
