yeah Im not sure but i think your using tuts to makes these, try being more oringinal and just mess in photoshop a bit thats what i do and it pays off.

yeah i new in PS nery 3-5 week i have kidding whit it and more.
i have use some tut and some no PS planet.

Set the freehand on point to point if you want to make tech like borders

Here, Anderwin, to make the most basic border, select a rectangle that doesn't touch any of the edges, but takes up most of the image.
Invert the selection.
On an empty layer paint the selection 128,127,128 grey.
Double-click on this layer, and play with the layer styles until it looks delectable.

thats one of the most ugly borders ive ever seen! its waaaay to plain!!! look at some of stealthies and lazers and lee's work if you want help on how "good" borders should look

u use photoshop right? then you will even have it MORE easy to make borders as theres a polygon lasso tool!!! omg!
