Why when you have Screaming Dragons? They're jets that drop incindiery bombs.

Because of two reasons:
1.Bombs are goods vs. tanks and buildings,but not that good vs. infantry.
2.Flamethrower is cheaper,faster,exelent for scouting.Available early in game and is graet vs. infantry and light vehicles.

Since when is fire bad against people? In case you haven't noticed, you're rather flammable. They're meant for incindiery bombing, like a weaker version of China's superweapon.
