Hello again! It's been a day since we've revealed the 9th place for the Tiberian Sun part of the competition. Have you played Yitzu's map yet? The map is cool and the tendency is only get better maps now.

The 8th place is Mount Tiberian, a map by Yuri's 2000 clone, someone new or very recent to the C&C community. He probably registered on PPM to submit his map.

A very nice map with the expression 'Tiberian Sun' written with trees. Two bases, each with at least 3 entrances. The paths are big and they are a bit too narrow. The details are good, but definitelly GDI players may not like this map as much as Nod ones, because Ion Storms happens often and randomly. And the Ion Storms are really evil and effective in this map. It destroyed a lot of my buildings and gave me more problems than AI.

We have an interesting detail here. This map was the favourite map from Carnotaurus (aka Lora). However, other judges didn't shared this optimism. Here's the details:

Nice map, dude. I just sugest you to avoid the paths to be so narrow. In the case of your map, the top path was clearly too narrow.

Great map. There certainly arn't many like that out there. It's true that your paths are a little tight, but this could add to gameplay in some aspects. You did a brilliant job.

In some ways I wish I was you. Obviously I want my map to do the best it can do but this suspense is killing me  Laughing

As before, Good luck to the final few.

I have to agree, I think its a novel design for a map. But I do feel the Ion Storms do spoil it a bit.

Wow.. this is like the 8th Map, and I liked the 9th one also. Competition is gonna get tough..
Good luck to the rest. And nice map Yuri Smile

The judges' nightmare: to judge the horde of maps #Tongue.

Well, if you don't like the ION Storms, turn them off from the editor.
Forgot to say: Good luck to the rest!
