Learn 'blender'. It is probably worth it. Besides, another program, just for rendering? Meh.

For rendering I highly recommend [url=http://www.povray.org">POV-Ray[/url].

Hmm, I don't know where my Gmax went. xD

No wonder, you never had it.  Rolling Eyes

You only have a 56K, no way on Earth you could have downloaded Gmax. Wink

Specifically, freeware or not?

If so, learn Blender. It's almost as hard to learn as other programs but once you got it down you'll fall in love with it. Or at least that's what they tell me.

Remeber that it can render with YAFRay, which is like POV.

Another route is Wings3D + YAFRay, but I think Blender is a better plan; this is because Wings3D is only a modeler, the other stuff must be done either in Wordpad or whatever dorky programs are available.
