YR Modding Questions.
Sup. I got a couple of questions, dealing with Modding Yuri's Revenge. (I'm using note pad, don't worry) I'm doing the classic, "reviving cut out units" thing. I'm trying to bring the Hind Transport back for all Soviet players. I have almost everything set: HVA, Camoe, Voices, Sounds, all that crap. But there's one thing: Rotors. I can't get 'em to "move", like the Night Hawk and Seige Chopper. Could someone help me plz?
Second question, deals with all vehicles that are considered aircraft. (eg: Night Hawk, Seige Chopper, Kirov) I'm trying to allow them to be able to dock at the Service Depot. I tried disabling the Is considered aircraft? tag, but that just changed the way the aircaft were positioned on the vehicle tab in game. Again, could someone help plz? _________________ Destroy to create. All for the hunt to dominate!
From my past experience, you must disable the Carryall=yes in the HIND entry or else it will crash the game when built.
Rotors are made with HVA animation. Analyze the nighthawk voxel in HVA builder to see how it works.
For that to work, you'll need a voxel where the rotors are a separate section. Blade made that, and it's up at PIXELOPS.
Jumpjets can't have docking structures. QUICK_EDIT

K, screw the Hind. I making the Soveits too powerfull. What I really want is aircraft to be able to land on the Service Depot. So what if turned jumpjet off? _________________ Destroy to create. All for the hunt to dominate!
