Newsflash!
Alright, some good community news from the recent days:
-> Lion Interviewed at CnC Depot: Flak has recently posted the interview he made with Lion (best webmaster on the CnC Community Awards) from CNCDEN. Here's a snippet:
"Flak:
You've been webmastering RADEN and CNCDEN for many years now, what is it that inspires you to keep running the sites, despite EAs lack of community support?
Lion:
Good question...and easily answered. I truly do enjoy running the DEN Network, and communicating with fans of Command & Conquer. My inspiration comes from the many emails visitors to the DEN websites have sent me over the years (numbering in the thousands) thanking me for keeping my websites updated, and providing them with news and downloads for the games they love to play."
"t has begun. The 10th anniversary of C&C Gold being released is apon us. With great magnificence, CnC-Files and CnC-Source are proud to announce a contest that will truly tax even the most knowledgeable fanatics. Presenting: The Ultimate Command & Conquer Trivia Contest! Come and test your mettle against the brains of the greatest minds in C&C. Can you be the one to answer all of these correctly? There is only ONE way to find out.
Join us here and show off your C&C Trivia knowledge. Prizes will be provided by EA. All questions can be verified in the games!
Good luck, and to avoid sounding cliche, I won't say "you'll need it.""
You can reach the Trivia on its own site. Get your manuals, your google and good luck!
-> CnC Replays Has Some New Strategy Guides: Aftern posting the American and GL Basic Strategy Guide, now it's the turn from the Chinese. It's an easy to read guide that will give you great tips on how experts plays Zero Hour. And if they are not enough, they have a RTS Basics guide showing tricks valid for all RTS games, such as rushing, economy strategies, micro management etc. And, if this is not enough, check out also their new ZH Fundamental Strategies guide as well. I think that, after that, you can improve your ZH gaming skills considerably.
-> Planet CnC interviews Frank Klepacki: Hexetic has interviewed Frank Klepacki to celebrate the C&C 10th Anniversary. This is probably the best interview from Keplacki I've seen so far. He talks about all musics and all his work on the first Command & Conquer. He also explains how Hell March became the theme music from Red Alert. Top notch interview located HERE.
And there are more news, but it's too late for me to search them. Enjoy these goodies! QUICK_EDIT
