Would it be possible to create an Iron Curtain-like energy shield when you deploy an infantry unit and hold it until you tell it to undeploy?  Or reduce damage in that radius?  Sorry if this question is a bit stupid.

Exodus infantry have personal shields (deployed infantry count as prone, thus minimized [WH] ProneDamage= with some edited deployed frames is sufficient). As for vehicles, what AliG said. Area defense in impossible, except for a [Heal] type weapon with a CellSpread.

This needs to go on the wish list. A Primary and secondary health bar. The first could be a shield and would have to follow the same rules as the normal health bar. Same damage health etc.

Instead of saying "it should go on the wishlist", why don't you go and add it, assuming it's not there yet?

I only say it should because it should. I would do it if it were my own idea, and if PD would check it.
