Akult has recently posted The Bible Of The Darkness, which is a document that explains the purposes, the story and the details from his mod Shadow Of Darkness.

It's a big, terrifying and creepy document that will take you straight to the lowest depths of the hell. Here's a snippet from the introduction:

"Shadow of Darkness is my personal tribute to the Command and Conquer saga and RTS as a whole genre. Also all those evil games and stories that have inspired me to continue forth with this mod. I certainty took command and conquer into where it should have not gone, straight down into Hell itself!

There were so many elements that the Command and Conquer universe has these sort of floating asterisks. I merely amplified these hidden elements into the playing field. Despite my obsession with the story line and visual outlook I almost created a Doom RTS, however there was something about Command and Conquer I could just not leave out.

By nature I was conscripted into a subculture that welcomes elements of horror, disgust and great vulgarity. So I certainly had no bars when it came in creating something of this vile nature. I hope that people can see beyond these vices and appreciate the effort it took to create an original mod that goes beyond everything we come to know and the hint of artistic virtue it took to get it done.

What I really saw was war and violent conflict are often depicted as these cartoon world. I seriously wanted something else to contrast these types of themes using alliterations from reality. I know that many will find it hard to digest what I came up with. Coming off as another peddler of vile creation. Indeed! It was my intention to create a world that holds no remorse and your stuck in it!"
