What about building Santa in your YR to...errr... attack christmas trees? Or building your soviet infantry in a decorated and iluminated barracks for their 'X-Mas' project? Or what about submitting your mind to the latest plans from Yuri to build monsters to eat... errr... children? God! Yuri stoop into a very low level this time, you know? All that mess I described above is part of the recently announced mod being developped by PaD called YR Jingle Bells.

Although I'd really love to see it hosted here in PPM, PaD already has a home for his mods at Rock The Battlefield. The pictures below show a bit of the things you'll find on this mod:

The 'X-Mas' Tree...

*/Commando's voice*: "I've got a present for ya!". It  replaces the crate...

Go Roma..errr.. I mean, go Santa!

This is the soviet barracks.

And there is much more about this original mod on this topic, including a picture of a Yuri monster and few other goodies. I hope I'll play this mod one day.

Is it me or pd is obsessed by X-mas? He did a christmas tree and a snow man a few months ago. I think he met the spirit #Tongue.

It's quite weird that after years of moding, someone descided to make a Christmas based mod.

What's next after the X-Mas mod? New Year Mod? Easter Mod?

ok this is probably the greatest disappointment ever and i almost got tears in my eyes, just quoting what I wrote on DZ:

Quote:
ya know how the greatest catastrophs use to happen when we least expectem?  :scared:

oh yeah...
HD error -> everything lost.
tried recovery tools already, no success.
since i ran an almost fresh winxp install, everything was backed up on that HD  :tard:  Crying or Very sad

that means, we got a lil problem right now.
xmas dreams are definitely over, the santa mod is gone and so are the models (though I could recreate the santa shp using the gifs).

argh... lets hope the best for next year Sad
i need calm right now (its only c&c stuff gone ya know...)

Damn man Sad... That mod was really looking promising...

There are some programs that restore lost hard disk data... if you are lucky, you can still save something...

Edit: Nevermind... you already tried it.. although I wasn't talking about winxp restoring tools... I think Norton comes with a tool that saves this kind of thing...

Well you can still salvage some work from what you've posted up. The present can easily be resized to crate size and you have the frames of the Soviet Barracks done. Romanov has at least the facing frames done. You may have lost the work, but that shouldn't hold you back Wink.

I agree, even after a devastation like this, you can pick up the pieces Wink
