The shrike fighter has two 10mm machineguns on each side for air combat, One 30mm machinegun to take down ground units and two Phantom's for heavier units such as tanks or buildings.

Iam not finished with the texture but whaddya think so far?

This is basicly my phantom... but resized textured and some other changes.

yea, it does look cartoony and the wings arent exactly aerodynamically perfect, but of a few changes were made it could be good. it reminds me of ackrons hornet voxel, except it your doesnt make as much sense as ackrons does  Confused

I can understand people giving constructive critisism but this is kind of VERY over the top...

Its actually quite a nice design Denmon. And don't let people put you off trying, just keep at it. Already you are better then me at it #Tongue

But just people have told you what THEY think is wrong with it doesn't mean you SHOULD do what they say, though most people don't give out constuctive critisism for the fun of it  Wink

It is good though. Just need a bit of improvement in some areas Wink

9mm are basic pistol/SMG rounds.

Try .50.

20mm would be acceptable.

for the record:

5.56mm = Standard size for assault rifles
7.62mm = Some assault rifles, sniper rifles, light machine guns
9mm = pistol and submachine gun bullets
12.7 = Sniper rifles (possibly HMGs?)
!4.7 = Sniper rifles? (soviet only?)
20mm = Very few sniper rifles (Anti armour)
30mm = Tank Autocannons, Gunships, CIWS
40mm = Grenade Launchers, anti aircraft guns
60mm = Mortars
81mm = mortars
88mm = Mortars
90mm= medium Tank guns
120mm = Main battle tank guns, heavy mortars
155mm= artillery guns.

thats pretty much all you need to know.

Technically, they COULD be a bullet, if you removed/shorted out the warhead.

I thought a shell was defined as 'anything that flew through the air and blew up on impact with something'

[/definatly not a lost cause]

Rockets have rocket motors, shells/bullets use a single explosive force to propel the projectile.
