il start with that i have extracted some files from tibsun mix they are mouse.shp . poweroff.shp . wrench.shp , select .shp , ring.shp if remoded the colours using os shp builder to make them look different and ive put them into an expand04 file but when it comes to the game you cannot see the mouse in skirmish and when you get hold of a vehicle an internal error appears ? maybe is it because they need to be in a different file or is there supposed to be more than two of the same file spread thorught out the mix files ? well its realy confusing

mouse.shp must be saved with compression 1 only, otherwise the game doesn't recognize it properly. OS SHP Builder has an option for saving on compression 1 on Options -> Preferences -> Loading & Saving section...

hmm... ok ive put the mouse.shp onto compresion 1 but the mouse during the menus dosnt seem to change colour but also the mouse is is invisible during the game and when i get a unit selected it crash's would the .shp have to be in a file named after from were theyve come from ? and will all the .shp fiels above have to have compresion 1 ?

mouse wants to be in expand, no ecache.

i was working on the theiry that anything that overides something already in the game needs to go in expand. i placed my mouse.sha in there and it works fine.
