This link will get you to Gamespy's Supreme Commander (Supcom) overveiw. They've got quite a few things; Info. on land, sea, and air combat, as well as the storyline, a interview with Chris Taylor, and a preview, of the overall features. (Multiplayer is gonna be wicked!)
So, now that you know what is (Or if you already knew what it was), lets state our thoughts on it. Anything, anything at all. If you love, if you hate, why you love it, why you hate, what you want to see, what you don't want to see, etc, etc. _________________ Destroy to create. All for the hunt to dominate!

Yeah, same here. My 700 speed IBM laptop would just... Explode if it tried to run this.
I think the game is almost perfect in every way. Hope they don't forget to add some good music! _________________ Destroy to create. All for the hunt to dominate!
I've heard of this a while ago. It's made by the guys who made Total Annihilation (a totally awesome game). I'm REALLY lokking forward to this, like nothing else. _________________

I'm also really looking forward to the Naval Combat. If you read the preview... You'd know what I mean. And what about that nuke, exploding in the center of that map? That's just... Awsome!
@Vincet93: At the top of the page, there's a box that will get to all of the screenies. You cant miss it. _________________ Destroy to create. All for the hunt to dominate!
And having submarine transports, a side which has walls that fight back. There is almost every gun available on a plane- what more could you want? _________________

I adore the idea of a sequel to Total Annihilation, actual or otherwise. The scale of the units is great (giant units stomp across the battlefield while smaller units scurry around underneath them) and the nuclear weapon is just fantastic. I mean, what's better than a superweapon that can actually take out entire maps? _________________

Yup. Cavedog released two. The Core contingency and Battle Tactics. They also released a bunch of new units. Oh and it's a good idea to download the 500 unit patch _________________

My laptop is below the minimum specs for the game but that won't stop me trying. It's a game that I've been looking forward to, I always did like Total Annihilation although I never did enjoy the lack of difference between the sides. _________________

From the multiplayer beta, it's following TA quite well. -__-
Hopefully the retail version changes that. _________________ Last edited by Arikado on Wed Feb 21, 2007 12:38 am; edited 1 time in total QUICK_EDIT

Well the demo so far refuses to play, it can't find a DX9 DLL and installing the latest version that came with the demo fails miserably with an unknown error. The word bugger comes to mind. _________________

I'd love to get this game, but I won't until I've built up my comp, and I won't until some more DX10 cards come out.
Why DX10 if I won't get Vista? Well, DX10 is the next evolution, and one day I'll get around to using it, I'm sure. But even if I don't, the DX10 cards can supposedly play DX9 stuff better than most DX9 cards.. so thats a plus.
And even if I don't intend on actually buying a DX10 card in the end, it'll hopefully push the price of the DX9 cards down a bit.. either way.. its better to wait..
But with SupCom, its not the graphics which are so intensive (at least it doesn't have to be), its the RAM and CPU which will be the major bottleneck. No suprise with the number of units it'll have on the battlefield..
That said.. I am tempted to get the UEF edition of the game from pre-order.. just because I want the funky poster
And those screens look beautiful, Arikado.. I have to say, if I get the game, I think I'll be loving the naval battles the most.. _________________ If there is a problem on the forums, PM me. QUICK_EDIT
