Paradrop Tanks
Open Rules.ini (MD is for Yuri's Revenge).
To make a paradrop plane that drops tanks is to Copy an existing Aircraft and add the aircraft a carryall=yes tag and make airport bound=no. In additional put a Weapon, so instead the weapon will be fired, the tank will be fire. Copy the codes here.

Or you could just copy the tanks code and then make its TechLevel=-1 then give it a different [name] and add that to then Infantry Type list and there you go. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

I've remembered that,in FA 2 YR,u can do teamgroups fos Singleplayer!!!!
That means that u can put different infantry(no matter who)in a parafrop,chronoshift(see final mission allies:How do u think that the MCV would be teleporting to there??)what ever!!! _________________

Still, where do you put the tank? in the ParadropInfantry list?
Everything put into an infantry list is considered infantry.
infantries are SHP.
IF you put a vehicletype into an infantry list, the game searches an Infantry with that ID.
for instance:
AmerParaDropInf=MTNK
would result in nothing unless you have an infantrytype called MTNK, which must be shp of course.
yes, you can drop tanks in maps.
but there's a special command that makes the game check VehicleTypes.
In skirmish, you have to fool the game.
that's basically what my rockpatch does.
but that isnt possible through INI coding.
To be honest, I didn't test this, but I really doubt it works.
it could only work if your primary weapon can spawn vehicletypes being paradropped, which isnt possible either...
Can anybody confirm it working?

I can confirm exile's tut, which isn't anything new, I had a tut about that on my site for god knows how long.
Carryall=yes only works on AircraftTypes. Also, a variation of the same trick, AircraftTypes with both passengers and weaponry will drop Burst= number of passengers in one cell when told to fire, then shuffle to another cell, repeat until all the passengers are dropped, then, if it still has Ammo= left, it will fire the actual weapon. It's a known fact, I remember even paradropping multiple vehicles from such a plane back in YR 1.000. 1.001 , though, apparently patched the AircraftTypeas not to accept passengers with Size>1 or something. 1) paradropped vehicles from the place have hva issues
2) a landable transport plane looks silly

easiest thing to do is download rockpatch and it's help files, open rulesmd.ini, and follow the instructions on the help file. thats it. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
well late reply but it doesn't work in ra2 multiplayer only yr multiplayer if want side reinforcements, its all about create teams and looking at sov mission 3 for reference. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
