How do I open .w3d and .GMAX in 3ds max?

I need to open .w3d and .gmax files in 3d Studio Max.

Someone please tell me how I can do this.

lol, i can

im not totalt sure u cant, just that, gmax files r for gmax only, and w3d files r only exported by gmax and cant be edited again

.gmax I really dont think it's possible, but .w3d you can. You need a .w3d importer tool.
