I thought you were older, since you were talking about doing a masters - unless you mean a bachelor / masters combo program or something. There have also been instances were you have talked about aspects of Quantum Physics - such as the properties of baryonic matter, usually tought at a 2nd year physics level (however general aspects are tought in 1st year). I think you have brought up stuff about the Standard Model (particle physics) as well.

Well, that's the course I applied for. Next September (provided I get the grades) I should be starting that course. The fact that I have relatively in-depth knowledge of certain aspects of physics comes from my interest in physics, the constant badgering of my teacher (who, handily enough, worked at CERN) with questions (including such delights as: "Is there a maximum possible temperature?" or "What is the gravitational force inside a particle?"). Anyway, if in doubt then Wikipedia can be useful. Considering I understand most of what it explains, there's no harm in using it to help back up the odd argument.

Anyway, thank you everyone for wishing me a happy birthday! It's nice to know that people care. Smile
