This device, which appears to be a larger version of the Infantry moving Teleporter, has been spotted in Alien bases. A functioning RSB-01 Satellite has gotten a picture of one of these buildings, in a basic low color.

Colors may appear bright due to the quality of the picture taken by the satellite- Alien jammers have been very active recently.

Note- It is outlined, and a WIP

Another spy-sat image has been worked with and a much higher quality image has been produced- EDF Technicians are enhancing the image as this is being announced.

That's a nice improvement, although you still have space for more enhancements in the texture, which is still not realistic.

Satellite Recon has unveiled a completed Alien Teleportation Device- however, the image is still being enhanced.

Basic info gathered from recon indicates it is used to shift vehicles and large objects that cannot be received by standard Teleporters, which also seem to be under redesign by Alien forces. It receives these units from Alien facilities on the planet, the moon and from an unknown location in outer space which appears to be nothing.

EDF 19th Mountain Division managed to take one of these devices, after a grinding assault on an captured Allied base.

Testing shows that these devices are coated in an unknown composite armor, prone to explode violentally when damaged, which requires a equally great force to do so. These devices use up alot of power. When compared to our War Factories, are less durable, more power needy, but much cheaper. The Aliens seem to have perfected a way of designing these teleportation units. Considering the simplicity of the design, it is safe to that it is designed for in-field use, not as a primary reinforcement unit.

Got the same comment from OrcaCommander awhile back.

He said it looked like Rise of Nations missile silo.


I am still working on details, especially the edges, I sorta killed the outline effect on the brightest side, still working on the others.

Yes, I plan to have a sort of particle flash animation above the teleport, a flash effect under the pad, probably on that dark spot.

I will take this time to point out that the blue "pad" is a non-lustrous material that on top of, the vehicle appears. It is a durable material(well, vehicles can drive on it without cracking it), few inches thick, and is transparent(indicated by darker, currently untextured areas).

The remap section(by the pad) is also transparent, but with SHP Builder 3.35 being the absolute only tool I used to make the SHP, I am limited in that regard.

Here are some details on the devices parts.

Bright Side(only info I will getting out for now)
Triangular Remap- These are panels- made of a light composite of unknown origin. When damaged, they will fall off, exposing energy current directors.

The panel- That is a solar panel, it absorbs energy from the sun to power the device when insufficient base power is available. It is vulnerable to impact, unlike the energy storage pods on the opposite side.

The little splotch next to the solar panel is a sort of sign, indicating in human(erm...English) and in Alien scripture that this device is dangerous and standing on it is not advised.

And when it is said to sorta resemble the RON Missile Silo, it is the shape of it.

This is Alien buildings, correct? Then why would there be human writings on it (let alone English #Tongue). And two - warn the Alien not to go on it? They are a super intelligent race of Space warriors man #Tongue

Well, Aliens use mind controlled(and not Yuri-style MC either) human beings as basic foot soldiers, however, they do employ some cyborgs, and a few of their own(dont expect to see those guys soon).

looks good IMO, just needs more texture variation I think Smile. the bluish-metal texture gives it a 'space platform' effect too If that's what you're trying to catch. Idea

Yeah, now that I look at it, you are right.

I darkened the unlit sides, added some orange, increased the shine on the glass like red remap.
The green bands are now dark blue, and have started added a rough graniness to the bands, in the center area.

The teleport pad itself has been darkened a bit, so I can add a flash of light under the pad if needed.(especially the dark part, which will be getting a newer look soon)
