Is there a way to make, for example, three Devil tongues come from three different waypoints (one for each), but using the same taskforce, teamtype, and trigger? or do they all need one for each?

each separately

spawning waypoints are determined within the taskforce. so if they were in the same group, and spawned from different places. i dont think it would work they way you want.

actually depending on what you want them to do they really only need a different teamtype set up.

cause you can have the task force can simply be
1 Devils tongue

and if your only having them go from where they start to the place you want (so say through one way point) then you can use the same script but if you want them to do something like
DT1 goes from waypoint 10 ->11 ->12
DT2 goes from 13 -> 14 ->15
DT3 goes from 16->17 ->18
then youd need different scripts

does that make sense? i hope this helps and that you havent already gone off and done all that extra making of taskforces.

What I wanted to do, is to use the same trigger to activate a teamtype, that has three Devil's coming from three different waypoints, and hunting down the enemy. I know I need only one taskforce, but do I need to make three teamtypes (onw for each unit), because they determy the spawning waypoint?

yes you will need separate Teamtypes set up unfortunately. as yes they do say where the unit spawns from....although i believe there is a Reinforcement trigger in finalsun that allows you to choose which waypoint they reinforcements start.

i suggest messing around with it and see for yourself if you can make a single teamtype work..... i think in your case it could be possible....but i know its possible with separate ones.

but if it simply AI controlled and you JUST want them to huntdown random enemies then maybe a simple script added with that reinforce trigger for where they start with a single teamtype would work...

i dont know just a suggestion on what possibly to try.
