Subject description: Normalizing with abnormal ranges results on funny aberrations...

I'm almost finishing the final details from this latest VXLSE III 1.36. This version comes with completely customizable normalization process. I admit that this feature isn't much focused on people who wants trully awesome normals... however, it's quite useful to do some aberrations, from crystal looking units into cartoons.

The options Range and Smooth allows normals to become more and more smoothed. However, if you exagerate, they can become plain or crystalized... so, here's an example of... bad experience.

I've set the range on 30. I had time to take a shower and drink some water before looking at the result. It literaly took 15 minutes to be ready.

This mech is by far the hardest model to normalize in history... I still couldn't make it be perfectly normalized.

I have tested it, and if you use AN 5.5 and uncheck all, seleck 2-smooth, it's a winner.

THANK YOU BANSHEE

PS: can you add AN 3.1 too #Tongue

Which version was AN3.1? If it was 1.2c, then use the settings you said above, except for Range 1... although range 2 is better.
