All the infos that i found about the Beta of TS
Hello guys i do a big research in the Gamer Ripper Tool to find a converter of the westwood format video for the research... But i find a lot of very old review (most of the website who done are death) so perhaps you can find new informations (most of the picture are missing)
I know that some are fake, some too old and some already seen
Here we have four pages for the preview but it's a preview not on the beta version .... but a more recent beta version but check:
"And for the ultimate in destruction, gear up a Mammoth Mk II. These monstrous, four-legged 'mechs pack twin rail guns and a back-mounted AA missile launcher."
a preview of the E3 old entertainment, we learn somethings like:
"If your units kill other units and manage to stay alive, they will go up in rank. This increases their AI as they will dodge automatically and aim better. "
"You can create watchtowers that illuminate their perimeter with lights to detect. I believe some units also have night vision as well, which would probably constitute for a strategic choice for a nocturnal assault. " (page2)
check also the list of the units, there are some bizarre like "cannon ball" ect.....
"The GDI defense towers are also modular, able to hold either a Vulcan cannon for infantry, a RPG launcher or a SAM launcher. If you need to change the weapon in a hurry, you can swap the weapon emplacement and have the previous weapon automatically sold." (page5, this one)
"The inclusion of build queues is a great relief- at present, the number of units that can be queued is unlimited."(page5, this one)
"meteor showers actually consists of showers of tiny shards of tiberium (No! Not more tiberium!) that sprout into vines that clog up structures and overrun bases without cleaning facilities." (page6)
"GDI disk thrower and mine thrower units- who, evidently, throw disks and mines. The disks explode on impact, but fortunately for the throwers, they have long range. The mines, in contrast, are proximity mines and explode only when someone is nearby. They will bounce and roll, so you have to be a little careful where you throw them- you wouldn’t want a proximity mine bouncing or rolling back at you, would you? "(page 6)
about forgotten on page 7, "On a more conventional note, the other two Forgotten units are the Sniper, a very long-range assassin, and the Flame Thrower unit, whose purpose should be obvious"
The only way to get Mammoths fire 2 shots at once would require making it just simply fire lasers...
AttachedParticleSystem= causes Burst= to be ignored.
Same thing is with Devil's Tongue. It can fire only one fire stream, but it has Burst=2 in weapon stats. _________________ Project Director of C4 Commando C4 Commando's ModDb profile QUICK_EDIT
Is this some sort of joke or something.... there was some other dumb things too in the unit list
btw ur last link says
Quote:
We can see here a very good view of the HARVESTER and Mamouth tank
Its actually a heavy tank
oh and i like
Quote:
Ion storms which cause power intensive units like (sonic tanks) to simply shut down
I may incoparate that into Retro, also having crystal debris flying off it when destroyed used by the disruptor to create its beam (this is also a feature intended but not included in TS) so expect to see it in 1.2
Should Ion Storms effect other power intesive units do u think, like stealth tanks etc ? wt do u think _________________ QUICK_EDIT
