hmmm iv never heard of a problem like that before Confused

i can only think of a few possible things and some them i highly doubt. but ill share anyways
-by chance, although i highly highly doubt it, you arent hitting the save?
-maybe part of the overlay thing in the map file is getting deleted somehow
-there is some error with the way you put the cliffs so they dont show up, although i highly doubt that cause iv seen playable maps with lots of cliff errors and stuff so yeah.

i really cant think of more but im more of an experienced mapper and not a problem solver/ error finder. lol

maybe TitanMarkII will see this and be able to answer your problem or maybe another person who may have a better understanding of it will.

anyways i hope you manage to solve this problem some how as i would like to see the maps that you can produce. Smile

Do you use the fill the cliffs button?
Maybe game doesn't add them because they are only stand like walls - with no fillings behind them.

Sorry, but I can't really see this map as a finished map. So, moved to mapping discussion.

Wait a second... Terrain features not showing up, you're not using the old method of deleting the IsoMapPack5 to make your map smaller, I hope? Rolling Eyes #Tongue

In that case, the IsoMapPack ain't there for nothing, it's not just some rudimentary block of code that can be brushed away, it's the part that contails all terrain coding. By the way, if you're wondering why rocks etc. show up - They're overlay and located in OverlayDataPack, which is much smaller, but grows when you use more and more rocks, etc. .

By the way, for the love of god, don't we have enough arena online maps already? "Can't you try a detailed one once you've fixed your problem? #Tongue

correct me if im wrong, but does this look incomplete to anybody else????

I guess you using some kind of mpr compression that works by removing clifs, water and any height adjustments:

Somebody completely missing the point. Original. Wink

68, That's the Overlay Package... Not the Iso Package. By the way, I just downloaded the map and noticed it wasn't there either, so mr. DannyPanny here did use that old stupid Iso removal method. Ugh, missing out so much for a mere few KB's... If you want to play with complete strangers, use normal maps, or get your friends together and send the large map over msn...

Just to make this clear, removing the iso package removes all the isometric data from your map, basically just a fancy way of saying deleting it makes your map flat and ugly.

Oh, by the way, Finalsun will automatically compress the data, that's why you can't read the tile data in the first place. As far as I know, there's no such thing as 'mpr compression', apart from ONADALOS. I'll let you figure out what that is.

Any map size over 100kb will not transfer to any more players then 4. There is a size limit to transfering before the game simply wont allow it. I think 150kb is the cut off threshold for 4 players.
