I like the new one far better, and the color scheme is good, the text is easier to read than on the last one. Good work!

Well.. I'd still say its blue. Its more blue than red..

With regard to different colours.. I don't know. Its possible, but its not something I have time for.

The original design had more of a contrast, but it hurt the eyes, this is far easier on the eyes.

just realized that the disjointed look I referred was do to firefox's rendering system those brackets don't render in it but do in IE don't know about other browsers though

The layout is identical in both Firefox and IE7 on my end (disregarding a few size changes). Clear you cache etc.
