G'day,
I'm working on a mod for C+C3, trying to turn it more into what I expected from C&C (eg: More mechs, hover units etc, more like what GDI/Nod/Scrin/Cabal/Forgotten should have been like (and yes the last 2 factions will be playable)
Problem is I need a coder that knows TW reasonably well, I can do minor changes but the real stuff I need someone with more know how.
There is a modeler/texturer, map designer and video editor sofar (as well as a story being worked on for the campaign, but what wont be till after units are ingame etc)
So anyone interested?

Here are some wallpapers that Councilor made:

Also check out Councilors devianart page, got alot of damn good images (both C&C TT mod related and other stuff):

Looks more like an android than a cyborg to me, along the lines of the mechanical cylons in BSG. Nice model though.

Cyborgs dont have to have organic parts, androids are robots that look human, it doesnt look human. There will be cyborgs with organic parts tho Smile

The definition of cyborg is an entity composed of both organic and inorganic parts. Its quite possible for a cyborg to have a totally inorganic shell (cyber men or daleks in dr who for fictional examples) all I'm saying is that these don't appear cybernetic externally. Android is used to refer to a humanoid robot which these do outwardly resemble. Renders of the original cyborg commando showed it to have an almost totally mechanical body, but with an organic brain contained in the head.

Love the Dropship!

I do see an unmistakable resemblance to the Cylons in the Cyborg tho. It's a great model but the resemblance bothers me for some reason. Can't say why.

Sorry i haven't been on IM lately Rico, I got my thumb caught in some moving gears at work and had to have it repaired so I've been out of it for a while.

Cheers,

Rebelmoon

When are you planning to show some in-game quality models? It helps making a decision...

The dropship looks insanely awesome. If i get 3dsMax is it hard to learn to do stuff like that? I have a few years experience with some low level cad software.

A gripe or two about the boxart.

Why is there TW art there?I thought you didn't like TW and were trying to pull away from it? It seems out of place.

But the models look lovely. I like the dropship a lot. Poly count is...?

Modeling is pretty strong visually. looking pretty good.

My only qualms are for the Cyborg Commando.. design wise maybe pose wise in the 3/4 perspective shot. He looks stiff and top heavy..could be the illusion of him having no neck and the shoulder pads..but just a comment to throw out. Wink
