Hmm... I think someone on the forum of Dune2k had a tool to display Dune II fonts and he said the format was pretty much the same as C&C1 font files. So he might be able to write an editor.

(see ArrakisResearchCo's posts in the Format80 decompression thread)

It would only be bug-filled if the coder released it before it was complete...sorry but your argument has no foundation...

Well, that's reassuring. 'Cause I heard some rumors some time ago they wanted to remove this letter...

Is there any way you can add a preview of the entire character table of a font, Katz? That would be a handy addition IMHO.

hm, GRemlin's old one had that...

Um okay, I tried this, and beyond the 4th or 5th character it always screws up. It seems to read the dimensions incorrectly, since I see parts of the previous characters appear on the next ones. This continues up to a point where suddenly all visible data turns into a complete mess.
Additionally, when I go towards the end of the list, it always gives the error "Read beyond end of file".

This happens on every single C&C95 font I open.

on a related note, I can't add new characters to it. What I really need is to expand the C&C95 fonts to 225 characters to allow me to add the ß symbol (which is at index 225 in DOS ASCII)
